I feel like you're doing a thing I'm guilty of that makes this a bit more confusing- muddling entropy and the second law of thermodynamics. Just because entropy is known to increase in closed systems, that does not mean that the entropy of a given slice of an open system will correlate with any overall increase in the entropy of that system. Entropy also doesn't necessarily correlate with more spread-out values of a given variable; a heat-dead universe has high entropy (a low chance of entering specific possible states) would likely have a very consistent temperature, or the molecules in a melted ice cute take regular positions spread across the bowl, instead of in a cube shape. So music isn't gonna get chaotic, just indistinguishably variable.

For your consideration: High Current High Voltage overhead power transmission lines. Get close to some running in your town and listen carefully. Most will hear the 50hz or 60hz frequency 'buzz' or 'vibration'. Some people with more acute hearing can notice this from a greater distance. Also, certain atmospheric conditions coupled with wind can pick up that oscillation and carry it even further. I'd be curious to compare these 'hotspots' from the maps shown to the proximity of the aforementioned power transmission lines....

How beautiful! What a pleasant, sober, honest and warm video Thank you for that. I find sound fascinating; everything is energy so for me this video resonates. My hearing is very sensitive and I have "suffered" from tinnitus for four years. In filmmaking, sound is what really makes a movie come across as "real". I mean in spite of it being a visual medium, cinema is very aural, with sound being actually 90% responsible for the illusion of being inside the narrative of the film. I use deprogramming and the Hero's Journey as a coaching tool for personal growth and sound is a vital element for me to navigate life. I worked with people (and have visually impaired friends too) who can't see and have learned first hand how developed their hearing is. It's incredibly powerful! In spite of many conversations, I still can't imagine how mentally disciplined they must be to keep certain sounds off when they want to rest. Shutting your eyes is a lot easier than shutting your ears!! In any case, what you are saying is coherent, and we need to start sharing this subject a lot more, because sound is going to finally be recognised in its importance for human well being and much more. I also believe that scientists and intuitive/spiritual guides would benefit from talking with each other, comparing notes and findings because we need to close the gap between these two fields. I'm sure that we'll only benefit from that dialogue! I have started a channel to gather people in a community of awakened and awakening individuals living with the same goal in mind: freedom and personal sovereignty. Everyone here is welcome. 🙏

While I've never heard The Hum, to my memory, I do experience hearing sounds constant sounds that don't bother other people and I hate it. My bedroom has a high pitched whine that drives me crazy sometimes. I do have tinnitus, but this is in addition to it; other people have heard it and I don't hear it in other parts of the house or other places I've spent the night.

I heard it louder when I had headphones on, but the sound wasn't coming through the headphones.

Lol i knew it...us neurodivergents hear all kinda stuff you'd never expect us to pick up-overhead lights, electricity in the walls, all kinds of weird stuff. The whole vid seems overdramatized. 38Hz is a regular tone well within the human hearing. Regular phones or a cheap microphone will pick this up if it has good enough sensitivity. Interference is a well known wave physics. If says that if you get one note from 2 or more sources they add on to eachother linearly. So 2 sources will give twice the sound. They can also deconstruct eacother and the wavelength are only in the 9 meters length so you can experience hotspots very locally. This is basic physics and not hard to understand at all.

Ok, I actually invested in a 9.1.4 setup for my studio. But wait, before everyone kills me - I completely agree with this video. Look, from my perspective I am mainly trying to write for games and film, but currently have some smaller Indy artist projects in Atmos too. My intention was to write and mix in Atmos for those platforms, however after having it, while I think it’s great for what I’m doing (maybe), the vast majority of music is a 50/50 split if sounding good or absolutely awful! For me, running Apple, Universal audio x16s which are Atmos capable, the only outlay was for speakers. So, as I get speakers at cost price it wasn’t a massive expense after claiming back the tax. But would I recommend it for everyone, definitely not now, the basic tech, even after this many years is buggy and broken. And speaking to the issue of translation and my ear recognition of immersive audio, I’m terrible at recognising height audio information. This may be a limitation of my head shape? But I don’t seem to hear the heights well, even with a tuned and measured setup. Don’t get me started on the head phones thing, I can’t hear Atmos in those either, when it’s moving around the rear maybe, but again, not the heights. I recommend people just watch this space and see where it goes, but if you have the money, what’s to lose other than money that you’d spend anyway… great video, thanks!

Really great video; minor critique; when you were explaining superposition and constructive interference I think you mislabeled your animation @5:33. The red & blue waves were named 'frequency' and 'amplitude' respectively where I think you intended instead 'timbale 1' & 'timbale 2'. It's the separate amplitudes of both waves individually that add (the 'peaks' of the red & blue waves), not the frequency of one that adds with the amplitude of the other. Just pointed this out since it can communicate the wrong idea to those who are just learning it.

From what I heard, there have been zero crashes due to FSD, ever, in fact, where exactly did you get 17 from? According to, the nameless source I found (NHTSA), in april 2024, after this video came out, only 13 deaths were confirmed to be related to FSD, which as of today, having passed, 1.3 billion miles on the software, would lead to a 1% fatality rate for every million miles, which is lower than the national average in the US (with driver assistance), I think NHTSA would ban software if it was notably unsafe under human supervision, and I wouldn't be using people who's sole intention is to try to not have a driver in a car, (way worse than being on the phone), as model safety standards for an actual person Also, I don't know how I am 4 months in the future, and somehow fewer people died today than have done 4 months ago? Maybe they were brought back to life, who knows
